NZ Carpet Makers is proud to be a New Zealand–owned and operated manufacturer, producing premium carpets right here at home. We specialise in solution-dyed nylon carpets, partnering only with the best raw material suppliers and investing in the latest state-of-the-art machinery to ensure every carpet we produce meets the highest standards of quality, durability, and performance.

Our commitment goes beyond craftsmanship — it extends to how we care for our people, our community, and the environment. We operate our manufacturing plant in full compliance with all environmental regulations, with a strong focus on protecting the health and safety of our employees.

We are dedicated to minimizing waste and maximizing resource recovery. Wherever possible, materials are recycled — including cardboard and paper, yarn ends, carpet offcuts, metal, timber, and even wastewater. These efforts form part of our ongoing policy of continuous improvement, ensuring we not only meet today’s standards but also set benchmarks for tomorrow. At NZ Carpet Makers, we believe that Type 6 solution-dyed nylon represents the future of sustainable carpet manufacturing. Unlike other fibres, it has the unique ability to be regenerated and reused indefinitely without compromising quality, making it one of the most environmentally responsible choices available support this circular approach, we proudly accept end-of-life Carpet Mill Type 6 nylon carpets returned to our Hamilton facility.
